Work starter to remove Chain::Lock interface by adding m_last_block_processed_height in CWallet and m_block_height in CMerkleTx to avoid GetDepthInMainChain having to keep a lock . Once this one done, it should ease work to wipe out more cs_main locks from wallet code.
I think it's ready for a first round of review before to get further.
- `BlockUntilSyncedToCurrent` : restrain isPotentialTip to isTip because we want to be sure that wallet see BlockDisconnected callbacks if its height differs from the Chain one. It means during a reorg, an RPC could return before the BlockDisconnected callback had been triggered. This could cause a tx that had been included in the disconnected block to be displayed as confirmed, for example.
~~- `AbandonTransaction` : in case of conflicted tx (nIndex = -1), we set its m_block_height to the one of conflicting blocks, but if this height is superior to CWallet::m_last_block_processed_height, that means tx isn't conflicted anymore so we return 0 as tx is again unconfirmed~~ After #16624, we instead rely on Confirmation.
~~- `AddToWalletIfInvolvingMe`: in case of block disconnected, transactions are added to mempool again, so we need to replace old txn in `mapWallet` with a height set to zero so we remove check on block_hash.IsNull~~ Already done in #16624

At wallet loading, we rely on chain state querying to retrieve
height of txn, to do so we ensure that lock order is respected
between cs_main and cs_wallet.
If wallet loaded is the wallet-tool one, all wallet txn will
show up with a height of zero. It doesn't matter as confirmation
height is not used by wallet-tool.
Reorder arguments and document Confirmation calls to avoid
ambiguity.

This change is mainly a naming / organization change intended to simplify #10102. It:
- Renames struct InitInterfaces to struct NodeContext and moves it from
src/init.h to src/node/context.h. This is a cosmetic change intended to make
the point of the struct more obvious.
- Gets rid of BanMan and ConnMan globals making them NodeContext members
instead. Getting rid of these globals has been talked about in past as a way
to implement testing and simulations. Making them NodeContext members is a
way of keeping them accessible without the globals.
- Splits g_rpc_interfaces global into g_rpc_node and g_rpc_chain globals. This
better separates node and wallet rpc methods. Node RPC methods should have
access NodeContext, while wallet RPC methods should only have indirect access
to node functionality via interfaces::Chain.
- Adds NodeContext& references to interfaces::Chain class and the
interfaces::MakeChain() function. This is needed to access ConnMan and BanMan
instances without the globals.
- Gets rid of redundant Node and Chain instances in Qt tests. This is
needed due to the previous MakeChain change, and also makes test setup a
little more straightforward. More cleanup could be done in the future, but it
will require deduplication of bitcoind, bitcoin-qt, and TestingSetup init
code.

This moves CWallet members and methods dealing with keys to a new
LegacyScriptPubKeyMan class, and updates calling code to reference the new
class instead of CWallet.
Most of the changes are simple text replacements and variable substitutions
easily verified with:

The only nontrivial chunk of code added is the new LegacyScriptPubKeyMan class
declaration, but this code isn't new and is just selectively copied and moved
from the previous CWallet class declaration. This can be verified with:

or

This commit does not change behavior.

b3a74100b8 it only returns true, even if the transaction was not
successfully broadcast. This commit changes CommitTransaction() to return
void.
All dead code in `if (!CommitTransaction())` branches has been removed.

Instead of relying on combination of hashBlock and nIndex
values to manage tx in its lifecycle, we introduce 4
status : CONFIRMED, UNCONFIRMED, CONFLICTED, ABANDONED.
hashBlock and nIndex magic values should only be used at
serialization/deserialization for backward-compatibility.
At block disconnection, we know flag txn as UNCONFIRMED where
previously they kept their states until being override by a
block connection or abandontransaction call. This is a change
in behavior for which user may have to call abandon twice
if transaction is disconnected and not accepted back in the mempool.
We assert status transitioning right in AddToWallet. Doing so
flagged a misbehavior in ComputeTimeSmart unit test where same
tx is confirmed twice in different block. To avoid inconsistencies
we unconfirmed tx before new connection in different block. We
also remove a cs_main lock in test, as AddToWallet and its
callees don't rely on locked chain.

This adds two methods to noui, that allows temporarily suppressing (and then resuming) the output from `noui`. For situations where errors are expected, it's confusing for the test binary to output an error and then conclude with `No errors detected`.
It also uses this supress/reconnect in the tests that currently produce verbose errors when running `test_bitcoin`.

Since ReserveDestination is currently only used directly in the `CreateTransaction`/`CommitTransaction` flow(or fee bumping where it's just used in `CreateTransaction`), I instead make the assumption that if a transaction is returned by `CreateTransaction` it's highly likely that it will be accepted by the caller, and the `ReserveDestination` kept. This simplifies the API as well. There are very few cases where this would not be the case which may result in keys being burned.
Those failure cases appear to be:

Under an assumeutxo model, we have multiple CChainState instances in use at once in order to support background validation. Currently, each CChainState instance has its own mapBlockIndex, a collection of linked block headers, in addition to a few other data structures that are related to maintenance of the block tree but not necessarily to any given chainstate.
In order to avoid duplicating this data across chainstates, this change moves chainstate-agnostic block metadata (and related behavior) into a class, `BlockManager`. Chainstates are parameterized with a reference to a blockmanager instance and in practice they share the same instance.
Most of this change is conceptually move-only, though the diff is somewhat muddled. The first commit can be reviewed slightly more easily with `--color-moved=dimmed_zebra`. Admittedly, that commit is pretty unwieldy; I tried to split it up after the fact with `git add --patch`, but that was difficult because of git's inability to split hunks past a certain point. Some of the moves also ended up being obscured when done over separate commits.

This PR compresses the `CWallet` chain of inheritance from 5 classes to 3 classes. `CBasicKeyStore` is renamed to `FillableSigningProvider` and some parts of it (the watchonly parts) are moved into `CWallet`. `CKeyStore` and `CCrypoKeyStore` are completely removed. `CKeyStore`'s `Have*` functions are moved into `SigningProvider` and the `Add*` moved into `FillableSigningProvider`, thus allowing it to go away entirely. `CCryptoKeyStore`'s functionality is moved into `CWallet`. The new inheritance chain is:

`SigningProvider` now is the class the provides keys and scripts and indicates whether keys and scripts are present. `FillableSigningProvider` allows keys and scripts to be added to the signing provider via `Add*` functions. `CWallet` handles all of the watchonly stuff (`AddWatchOnly`, `HaveWatchOnly`, `RemoveWatchOnly` which were previously in `CKeyStore`) and key encryption (previously in `CCryptoKeyStore`).
Implements the 2nd [prerequisite](https://github.com/bitcoin-core/bitcoin-devwiki/wiki/Wallet-Class-Structure-Changes#cwallet-subclass-stack) from the wallet restructure.

Fixup to #14978, which introduced a bunch of unused enum values, such as `UNKNOWN_ERROR`, `ERROR_COUNT` and `TRANSACTION_ERR_LAST`. None of those have a meaning in the context of an `enum class`, where the compiler can infer if all cases have been covered in a switch-case.
Also, move the global `::maxTxFee` back to the rpc caller, so it can be set on a per call basis (in the future).

After refactoring general-purpose PSBT and transaction code out of RPC code,
for use in the GUI, it's no longer appropriate to throw exceptions. Instead we
now return bools for success, and take an output parameter for an error object.
We still use JSONRPCError() for the error objects, since only RPC callers
actually care about the error codes.
Move non-wallet PSBT code to src/psbt.{h,cpp}, and PSBT wallet code to
src/wallet/psbtwallet.{h,cpp}. This commit contains only code movement (and
adjustments to includes and Makefile.am.)

Alternative (kind of) to #14938
This PR adds a `blank` parameter to the `createwallet` RPC to create a wallet that has no private keys initially. `sethdseed` can then be used to make a clean wallet with a custom seed. `encryptwallet` can also be used to make a wallet that is born encrypted.
Instead of changing the version number as done in #14938, a wallet flag is used to indicate that the wallet should be blank. This flag is set at creation, and then unset when the wallet is no longer blank. A wallet becomes non-blank when a HD seed is set or anything is imported. The main change to create a blank wallet is primarily taken from #14938.
Also with this, the term "blank wallet" is used instead of "empty wallet" to avoid confusion with wallets that have balance which would also be referred to as "empty".
This is built on top of #15225 in order to fix GUI issues.

Pull request description:
Instead of adding BerkeleyEnvironment objects permanently to the g_dbenvs map, use reference counted shared pointers and remove map entries when the last BerkeleyEnvironment reference goes out of scope.
This change was requested by @TheBlueMatt and makes code that sets up mock databases cleaner. The mock database environment will now go out of scope and be reset on destruction so there is no need to call BerkeleyEnvironment::Reset() during wallet construction to clear out prior state.
This change does affect bitcoin behavior slightly. On startup, instead of same wallet environments staying open throughout VerifyWallets() and OpenWallets() calls, VerifyWallets() will open and close an environment once for each wallet, and OpenWallets() will create its own environment(s) later.

As discussed in the comments on #14473, I think that bug was caused primarily by failure to adhere to the invariant that a PSBTInput always has exactly one of the two utxo fields present -- an invariant that is already enforced by PSBTInput::IsSane, but which we were temporarily suspending during signing.
This refactor repairs the invariant, also fixing the bug. It also simplifies some other code, and removes redundant parameters from some related functions.

This Pull Request fully implements the [updated](https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/pull/694) BIP 174 specification. It is based upon #13425 which implements the majority of the signing logic.
BIP 174 specifies a binary transaction format which contains the information necessary for a signer to produce signatures for the transaction and holds the signatures for an input while the input does not have a complete set of signatures.
This PR contains structs for PSBT, serialization, and deserialzation code. Some changes to `SignatureData` have been made to support detection of UTXO type and storing public keys.

Many RPCs have been added to handle PSBTs.
`walletprocesspsbt` takes a PSBT format transaction, updates the PSBT with any inputs related to this wallet, signs, and finalizes the transaction. There is also an option to not sign and just update.
`walletcreatefundedpsbt` creates a PSBT from user provided data in the same form as createrawtransaction. It also funds the transaction and takes an options argument in the same form as `fundrawtransaction`. The resulting PSBT is blank with no input or output data filled in. It is analogous to a combination of `createrawtransaction` and `fundrawtransaction`
`decodepsbt` takes a PSBT and decodes it to JSON. It is analogous to `decoderawtransaction`
`combinepsbt` takes multiple PSBTs for the same tx and combines them. It is analogous to `combinerawtransaction`
`finalizepsbt` takes a PSBT and finalizes the inputs. If all inputs are final, it extracts the network serialized transaction and returns that instead of a PSBT unless instructed otherwise.
`createpsbt` is like `createrawtransaction` but for PSBTs instead of raw transactions.
`convertpsbt` takes a network serialized transaction and converts it into a psbt. The resulting psbt will lose all signature data and an explicit flag must be set to allow transactions with signature data to be converted.

Created a `getPath` method which can be used with the `TestingSetup` fixture to create a temp directory. Updated tests using temp directories to use this method.
I tried setting up a `BOOST_GLOBAL_FIXTURE` to create a truly global path for all tests but was getting linker errors when including `boost/test/unit_test.hpp` in `test_bitcoin.cpp`. Even if I had gotten the linking to work, it looks like `make check` invokes the test binary a bunch of times, so it may not have worked anyway.

This PR fixes signedness for all expectation values, sometimes resulting in `int` → `unsigned int`. No other code changes besides adding/removing `U` to/from values.

This is an implementation of the [Branch and Bound coin selection algorithm written by Murch](http://murch.one/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/erhardt2016coinselection.pdf) (@xekyo). I have it set so this algorithm will run first and if it fails, it will fall back to the current coin selection algorithm. The coin selection algorithms and tests have been refactored to separate files instead of having them all in wallet.cpp.
I have added some tests for the new algorithm and a test for all of coin selection in general. However, more tests may be needed, but I will need help with coming up with more test cases.
This PR uses some code borrowed from #10360 to use effective values when selecting coins.

- `Construct CWalletTx objects in CommitTransaction` moves a bunch of CWalletTx initialization into CWallet::CommitTransaction to dedup some code and avoid future inconsistencies in how wallet transactions are created.
- `Get rid of CWalletTx default constructor` does what is described and eliminates the possibility of empty transaction entries being inadvertently created by mapWallet[hash] accesses.
Both of these changes were originally part of #9381

Allows SelectCoinsMinConf and SelectCoins be able to switch between
using BnB or Knapsack for choosing coins.
Has SelectCoinsMinConf do the preprocessing necessary to support either
BnB or Knapsack. This includes calculating the filtering the effective
values for each input.
Uses BnB in CreateTransaction to find an exact match for the output.
If BnB fails, it will fallback to the Knapsack solver.
No change in behavior in the normal case. But buggy mapWallet lookups with
invalid txids will now throw exceptions instead of inserting dummy entries into
the map, and potentially causing segfaults and other failures.
This also makes it a compiler error to use the mapWallet[hash] syntax which
could create dummy entries.
Construct CWalletTx objects in CWallet::CommitTransaction, instead of having
callers do it. This ensures CWalletTx objects are constructed in a uniform way
and all fields are set.
This also makes it possible to avoid confusing and wasteful CWalletTx copies in
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/9381

* The third commit makes second commit a little safer by changing bitcoin to create wallet databases as directories rather than files, so they can be safely backed up.
All three commits should be straightforward:
* The first commit adds around 20 lines of new code and then updates a bunch of function signatures (generally updating them to take plain fs::path parameters, instead of combinations of strings, fs::paths, and objects like CDBEnv and CWalletDBWrapper).
* The second commit removes two `-wallet` filename checks and adds some test cases to the multiwallet unit test.
* The third commit just changes the mapping from specified wallet paths to bdb environment & data paths.

This implements a minimum viable implementation of SegWit wallet support, based on top of #11389, and includes part of the functionality from #11089.
Two new configuration options are added:
* `-addresstype`, with options `legacy`, `p2sh`, and `bech32`. It controls what kind of addresses are produced by `getnewaddress`, `getaccountaddress`, and `createmultisigaddress`.
* `-changetype`, with the same options, and by default equal to `-addresstype`, that controls what kind of change is used.
All wallet private and public keys can be used for any type of address. Support for address types dependent on different derivation paths will need a major overhaul of how our internal detection of outputs work. I expect that that will happen for a next major version.
The above also applies to imported keys, as having a distinction there but not for normal operations is a disaster for testing, and probably for comprehension of users. This has some ugly effects, like needing to associate the provided label to `importprivkey` with each style address for the corresponding key.
To deal with witness outputs requiring a corresponding redeemscript in wallet, three approaches are used:
* All SegWit addresses created through `getnewaddress` or multisig RPCs explicitly get their redeemscripts added to the wallet file. This means that downgrading after creating a witness address will work, as long as the wallet file is up to date.
* All SegWit keys in the wallet get an _implicit_ redeemscript added, without it being written to the file. This means recovery of an old backup will work, as long as you use new software.
* All keypool keys that are seen used in transactions explicitly get their redeemscripts added to the wallet files. This means that downgrading after recovering from a backup that includes a witness address will work.
These approaches correspond to solutions 3a, 1a, and 5a respectively from https://gist.github.com/sipa/125cfa1615946d0c3f3eec2ad7f250a2. As argued there, there is no full solution for dealing with the case where you both downgrade and restore a backup, so that's also not implemented.
`dumpwallet`, `importwallet`, `importmulti`, `signmessage` and `verifymessage` don't work with SegWit addresses yet. They're remaining TODOs, for this PR or a follow-up. Because of that, several tests unexpectedly run with `-addresstype=legacy` for now.

This introduces two command line flags (-addresstype and -changetype) which control
the type of addresses/outputs created by the GUI and RPCs. Certain RPCs allow
overriding these (`getnewaddress` and `getrawchangeaddress`). Supported types
are "legacy" (P2PKH and P2SH-multisig), "p2sh-segwit" (P2SH-P2WPKH and P2SH-P2WSH-multisig),
and "bech32" (P2WPKH and P2WSH-multisig).
A few utility functions are added to the wallet to construct different address type
and to add the necessary entries to the wallet file to be compatible with earlier
versions (see `CWallet::LearnRelatedScripts`, `GetDestinationForKey`,
`GetAllDestinationsForKey`, `CWallet::AddAndGetDestinationForScript`).
This requires the removal of some very liberal (incorrect) cs_mains
sprinkled in some tests. It adds some chainActive.Tip() races, but
the tests are all single-threaded anyway.

This PR removes the operator and adapts callers. This includes some cases of `static_cast<CTransaction>(wtx)` → `*wtx.tx`, which is definitely an improvement.

CWallet::MarkConflicted may acquire the cs_main lock after
CWalletDB::LoadWallet acquires the cs_wallet lock during wallet initialization.
(CWalletDB::LoadWallet calls ReadKeyValue which calls CWallet::LoadToWallet
which calls CWallet::MarkConflicted). This is the opposite order that cs_main
and cs_wallet locks are acquired in the rest of the code, and so leads to
POTENTIAL DEADLOCK DETECTED errors if bitcoin is built with -DDEBUG_LOCKORDER.
This commit changes CWallet::LoadWallet (which calls CWalletDB::LoadWallet) to
acquire both locks in the standard order. It also fixes some tests that were
acquiring wallet and main locks out of order and failed with the new locking in
CWallet::LoadWallet.

If I'm reading the code correctly the absence/presence of these `memory_cleanse(…)` calls won't alter the outcome of the test in question (`TestPassphraseSingle`) even if fixed. Therefore removing.

Start importwallet rescans at the first block with timestamp greater or equal
to the wallet birthday instead of the last block with timestamp less or equal.
This fixes an edge case bug where importwallet could fail to start the rescan
early enough if there are blocks with decreasing timestamps or multiple blocks
with the same timestamp.
An off-by-one-block bug in importmulti rescan logic could cause it to return
success in an edge case even when a rescan was not successful. The case where
this would happen is if there were multiple blocks in a row with the same
GetBlockTimeMax() value, and the last block was scanned successfully, but one
or more of the earlier blocks was not readable.
Abstract database handle from explicit strFilename into
CWalletDBWrapper.
Also move CWallet::Backup to db.cpp - as it deals with representation
details this is a database specific operation.
Change ScanForWalletTransactions return value so it is possible to distinguish
scans that skip reading every block (due to the nTimeFirstKey optimization)
from scans that fail while reading the chainActive.Tip() block. Return value is
now non-null in the non-failing case.
This change doesn't affect any user-visible behavior, it is only an internal
API improvement. The only code currently using the ScanForWalletTransactions
return value is in importmulti, and importmulti always calls
ScanForWalletTransactions with a pindex pointing to the first block in
chainActive whose block time is >= (nLowestTimestamp - 7200), while
ScanForWalletTransactions would only return null without reading blocks when
pindex and every block after it had a block time < (nTimeFirstKey - 7200).
These conditions could never happen at the same time because nTimeFirstKey <=
nLowestTimestamp.
I'm planning to make a more substantial API improvement in the future (making
ScanForWalletTransactions private and exposing a higher level rescan method to
RPC code), but Matt Corallo <git@bluematt.me> pointed out this odd behavior
introduced by e2e2f4c "Return errors from importmulti if complete rescans are
not successful" yesterday, so I'm following up now to get rid of badness
introduced by that merge.

Change CCrypter to use vectors with secure allocator instead of buffers
on in the object itself which will end up on the stack. This avoids
having to call LockedPageManager to lock stack memory pages to prevent the
memory from being swapped to disk. This is wasteful.
There are only a few uses of `insecure_random` outside the tests.
This PR replaces uses of insecure_random (and its accompanying global
state) in the core code with an FastRandomContext that is automatically
seeded on creation.
This is meant to be used for inner loops. The FastRandomContext
can be in the outer scope, or the class itself, then rand32() is used
inside the loop. Useful e.g. for pushing addresses in CNode or the fee
rounding, or randomization for coin selection.
As a context is created per purpose, thus it gets rid of
cross-thread unprotected shared usage of a single set of globals, this
should also get rid of the potential race conditions.
- I'd say TxMempool::check is not called enough to warrant using a special
fast random context, this is switched to GetRand() (open for
discussion...)
- The use of `insecure_rand` in ConnectThroughProxy has been replaced by
an atomic integer counter. The only goal here is to have a different
credentials pair for each connection to go on a different Tor circuit,
it does not need to be random nor unpredictable.
- To avoid having a FastRandomContext on every CNode, the context is
passed into PushAddress as appropriate.
There remains an insecure_random for test usage in `test_random.h`.
This reverts PR #4906, "Coinselection prunes extraneous inputs from
ApproximateBestSubset".
Apparently the previous behavior of slightly over-estimating the set of
inputs was useful in cleaning up UTXOs.

Verify that results correct (match known values), consistent (encrypt->decrypt
matches the original), and compatible with the previous openssl implementation.
Also check that failed encrypts/decrypts fail the exact same way as openssl.
