[Bug] video looks like deleted but it is not #32

not sure how to describe this bug tho...

in regular environment, if a video gets deleted from YouTube, the thumbnail picture looks like this within invidious feed:

clicking on it will result in:

however, sometimes it looks like this:

but the video is actually NOT deleted:

questions/speculations/propositions:

  1. did invidious fail to get that picture? why? is it because the video was "fresh"? or the picture was in some odd format?
  2. would it be possible to remove deleted videos from the feed to not waste time clicking on them? as some channels regularly delete 2-3 videos per day. image

removing dead videos, or implementing some measures to re-get the thumbnail if getting it on 1st time failed, would (at least) really help to differentiate between dead and alive videos.

in this particular case, waiting 15 minutes and hitting F5 revived the picture:
