browser zoom set to 100%

issue: this rare unicorn bug happens from time to time, where video ignores the window area, and it is zoomed out to fit the actual resolution. in 99% of cases, it occurs on shorts or videos that are shot vertically.

important: bug is NOT reproducible as usually 2-3 F5 reloads will fix the video by fitting it in the proper frame

Report this to upstream invidious. Most of my changes are on the backend side of things so this is not an issue exclusive to my instance :b

(I wasn't able to reproduce this after like 50 reloads xd)

as stated, it is not reproducible. it occurs only on first open of the video (and only sometimes), and F5 will snap it back to normal size. most likely, the setting that is responsible for fitting the video in the view screen is loaded with delay with respect to loading the rest of the site. duno, it just happens.

I will leave it as is, as I was banned on github from reporting stuff upstream
